What is a Well-Architected Review?

The 6 Pillars of Well-Architected Framework

The Process

  • First we will have a discovery phase, including selecting and describing the chosen workload, gathering documentations and infrastructure diagrams.

  • In a collaborative virtual session lasting approximately three hours, your chosen workload will be thoroughly described and illustrated for GlobalDots AWS experts.

  • During this interactive meeting, the purpose, architecture, and requirements are clarified in alignment with the selected principles of the Well-Architected Framework.

  • Subsequently, a comprehensive evaluation of the results takes place, paving the way for the introduction of specific improvements. Clients are then provided with a detailed proposal outlining a strategic roadmap to implement both medium and long-term objectives.

OK, but how much does it cost?

Participating in the Well-Architected Review (WAR) costs $5,000.

B y partnering with GlobalDots, an AWS Advanced Partner, to implement enhancements identified during a Well-Architected Review, your organization may be eligible to receive AWS funding.

AWS offers funding of up to 10% of your net new annual recurring spend on new services, up to a maximum of $100,000, upon approval by the AWS Account Manager.

This means that by migrating new workloads to AWS or modernizing existing ones and addressing potential high-risk issues through a Well-Architected Review, you can enhance your cloud infrastructure and receive substantial financial support from AWS, making the entire process a highly cost-effective investment.
