Instart Logic acquires Kwicr to further improve its Mobile Application Acceleration
Instart Logic, the provider of of application delivery solutions, announced that it had acquired market heavyweight in mobile application acceleration, Kwicr. Instart Logic’s latest aim is to become the first application delivery company with an end-to-end acceleration solution for web, hybrid and native applications. Instart Logic will not only gain Kwicr’s patented Mobile Delivery Network software development kit (SDK), but also be have access to Kwicr’s expertise in mobile application acceleration to find new synergies in its application delivery solution. The company will be opening a new office in Boston to facilitate the acquisition and accommodate the new team.

Dailymotion leverages Limelight Orchestrate to deliver video content in APAC region
Limelight Networks, the provider of CDN and digital presence management solutions, announced that Dailymotion, the global video streaming platform, is leveraging its Limelight Orchestrate solution for delivering video content with multi-device, multi-screen support in the Asia-Pacific region. Dailymotion’s current existing network and bandwidth weren’t able to meet the increase in peak traffic demands of the Asia-Pacific region and hence it decided to use a CDN for ensuring high quality streaming experience for its end-users. Aryaka optimizes connectivity to Office 365 through its Azure ExpressRoute

Verizon Digital Media Services to provide DNSSEC support as part of its integrated DNS solution
Verizon Digital Media Systems, a provider of networking services, announced that the Company would now be supporting Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC) as part of its integrated DNS offering. The DNSSEC adds an additional layer of security over the conventional DNS service and hence protects the customer’s’ web properties from certain DNS injection attacks like cache poisoning and man-in-middle attacks. The company has implemented DNSSEC as a secondary DNS solution in its ROUTE offering and will enable customers to use their own DNS zones and infrastructure while leveraging Verizon’s DNS-management solutions as a 3rd Party service.
